When Agent Mulder and the videotaped evidence of what happened the night Scully's baby was born both disappear, Agent Doggett and Agent Reyes find themselves alone in their investigation against Deputy Director Kersh. Even Scully wants no part of it. But when her baby starts exhibiting unusual behaviour, Scully contacts Doggett only to find he wants her to meet a woman who claims to be a product of the government's plan to breed 'Super Soldiers' - a plan that is about to be expanded by adding a mutation-inducing chemical to the city's water supply.

The X-Files: Nothing Important Happened Today

THE sci-fi saga seems never-ending, even without David Duchovny in the lead role as Fox Mulder and Scully taking a back seat due to motherhood. Nothing Important is the Season Nine launch (confirmed as the last- ever season) and introduces Lucy Lawless.Sounds like a chance for a spin-off.

EXTRAS: A BEHIND-THE-SCENES special feature provides an intriguing look at how the X-Files has evolved and what goes into making it appear plausible, despite the far- fetched storylines. Because Scully has a baby these days, Monica Reyes is agentDoggett's partner and a Monica Reyes Profile sees Annabeth Gish lift the lid on her character and discuss the action clips.
